The LandBank Years...Romblon FO

I reported to Romblon Field Office in Odiongan, Romblon on May 15, 1993. Odiongan can be reached by sea and by air. When you go by sea you had to take the ship in Batangas city pier. The travel time was approximately twelve hours. The ship left the pier at 6 pm and arrived at Odiongan port at 6 am the following day. If you take the plane at the Manila airport it took only about an hour. However, the plane schedule was unreliable for the flights were cancelled too often.

I was assigned in Romblon for ten months. By February 21, 1994 I received a special order for my assignment to Alaminos FO in Alaminos, Pangasinan in Region 1.
