It was in early 1995 that several colleagues from LandBank also availed of the early retirement plan of the bank. These included vice president and regional head Mr. Raymundo a. Dionisio, Josefina Avelino, Edna A. Mag-Atas, and Lucila E. Odra. Earlier, Jesus V. Padua retired in 2003 and Ligaya Austria in 2004.
In April or May, 2005 these former officers of LandBank began meeting once a month for a re-union and plan for future activities. We met in Cabanatuan city most of the time at Max's restaurant with one of us as the host in a round robin style. This went on until we had decided to put up a lending corporation as project to serve as an activity for us as retirees not to be idle and unproductive. It was on the last quarter of 2005 that the incorporation papers were prepared for registration with the Security and Exchange Commission(SEC).
The final incorporators from the original core of former LandBankers who put up the lending corporation were Raymundo A. Dionisio, Jesus V. Padua, Edna E. Mag-Atas, Josefina Avelino and Nonito C. Cristobal. The name we selected was JJEREN Lending Corporation (JFC). The name was derived from the first letters of the name of the incorporators: J(Josie)JE(Jess)R(Ray)E(Edna)N(Noni).
JJEREN Lending Corporation (JFC) was opened on January 16, 2006 at San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. The manager of the corporation was Albert U. Mag-Atas, husband of Edna Mag-Atas and a former manager of GM Rural Bank. Officers of JFC were Raymundo A. Dionisio, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Jesus V. Padua, President; Nonito C. Cristobal, Treasurer; and Edna E. Mag-Atas, Corporate Secretary.

It was in the last quarter of 2007 that the board of directors began to think of expanding the operation of JFC to serve its clientele better. The idea of converting the corporation into a rural bank emerged.
