Back to Luzon....via Super Ferry

It was time to go back to Luzon after my assignment in butuan City for almost 7 months. We took up the super ferry in going back to Luzon for the rare experience. We boarded the ferry at Cagayan de Oro city.

Visit to other Mindanao FOs

On January 25, 1991 I received a special order for re-assignment to Infanta FO in Infanta, Quezon in region 4.

I and Danny Liwag, manager of Surigao del Sur FO requested our Regional Head VP Art Bernardo to allow us to visit other FOs in Mindanao prior to our re-assignment in Luzon. VP Bernardo approved so we had a caravan trip together with Manager Nerio Guadalupe who served as our guide. Our caravan trip was on Feb. 21 to February 25, 1991. My wife, Vangie visited me by that time so it was an opportunity for us to see the other FOs.

After the FODP training, I returned to the Aurora FO in Baler. Then I received a special order in July 20, 1990 as Acting Head of Agusan del Note(Butuan City)FO.

Prior to reporting to the field office, I attended the Mindanao-Visayas planning conference in Cebu City on August 10, 1990.

I reported to Agusan del Norte FO on August 20, 1990.

The LandBank Years...FODP 3 Graduation

The graduation of the FODP 3 was on June 19, 1990 after almost three months of training. President Diogracias Vistan was the Guest of Honor. Also present were EVP Atty. Jess Diaz and SVP Illuminada Cabigas.

The LandBank Years...FODP 3 Training

The Field Officers Development Program(FODP)3 started on March 7, 1990. The venue of the training was in IIAP, Alabang, Metro Manila.

The training consisted of several modules, namely: Management tools and techniques; Effective audience communication; Effective Business writing; Accounting for non-accountants; Financial Analysis; Head office and Field office accounting; Project Appraisal/Revalida of Project Feasibility Study(PFS); Field office Lending Operations; Financial & organizational audit and credit review; and Final Revalida.

The FODP 3 training ended on June 19, 1990.

The LandBank Years...Aurora Field Office

I reported to the Aurora Field Office in Baler, Aurora in August, 1989 as head of the Loans & Discount Division(LDD). The Field Operations Manager was Rosalino Alano.
I was with the Aurora FO up to February, 1990.

In March, 1990 I was selected to attend the 3 months Field Officers Development Program(FODP)111. The FODP was a training program for future field officers of the Bank in the Agrarian Sector. Its counterpart in Branch Banking Sector was the Bank Officers Development Program(BODP)
